Material shifts when it applied to a group
In this example material is applied to the box as a group, not to the individual faces. That when when I apply the material it automatically maps to all sides the way I want it to, but when I render in LightUp it shifts. Is there a way to fix this? It doesn't happen all the time.

I figured out that this is problem when the material is applied to a group and not to the actual surface. SketchUp allows the material to be applied to an entire group or groups nested with in groups and the material will be placed by the origin of the group/component, but LightUp seems to have a difficult time understanding how this is translated, so the material moves slightly. The only way to fix this is to apply the material to the actual face rather than the group. Sometimes, it will work if there is no nested groups/components and the material is applied to the group, but not always.

I discovered a work around which seems to be working in almost all cases. I say almost because I haven't fully tested it and depending on how complicated your model is, it might not work. In the SketchUp material editor, if you set the texture size to 32" or less in at least one, but better if you make both dimensions less than 32" it works just fine. The biggest problem with this work-around is that you have to go into the model and reduce it down to match the dimension of the texture size and then scale the model back up to its actual size. For example, if your model is 96" tall and you have a texture that is supposed to cover the entire height of 96", set the texture size to 32" in the editor, build or reduce your model 32" tall in the base group. Exit the group/component or make it a group/component, and then scale up the model by a factor of 3 so that it is now 96".
