Could not find how to add a PointLightGrid

Post by pierrebourgault » Sun Jan 17, 2016 10:24 pm

Hi,

I am using the trial version (4.2) with SU 2016 64-bits. The tutorial at http://light-up.co.uk/resources4.2/GettingStarted.pdf mentions the existence of PointLightGrid component but does not explain how to insert one. I did explore the LU menus but cannot find anything.

Any hint ?

Thanks,

Pierre

LightUp makes use of regular Sketchup Components to represent LightUp features in your model. They are automatically added to your model and are found in the Sketchup Component browser.

Component definition PointLightSources are regular Components that you can place, duplicate, move and delete, in addition LightUp Query tool "knows" about them and can set IES profiles, Kelvin colors, animation and aim direction.

Likewise, PointLightGrids are SketchUp Components you can drag and drop into your model from the Sketchup Component dialog.
