Better lighting in my office.

Post by Patschorke » Wed Jan 18, 2012 1:28 am

To anyone new at light up, make sure you don't have walls or ceiling at fully lit as I did for my last post. The more familiar I got with lighting I started to realize my lights weren't casting arcs or proper shadows. I was just flooding light or had objects turned to fully lit. Here is a better version of my office at the skill level I'm at. I'm sure I'm missing stuff but nevertheless moving forward.

You did that with Light Up???? OMG! That's amazing. That reflection on the laptop is in real time? I love it. It's the most realistic thing I've seen done with LU yet.
I'm always having problems to lit my scenes, and at the end I realize I should use less light. The more use you put on, the more flat it looks. I'm fighting yet with LU to get a shiny and bright outdoor render. I always get cloudy days :)
