Post by deaneau » Sun Jan 22, 2012 9:40 am

Hallo my big wish is a FBX export to single-layer materials.

not all users use Unity3d.
my wish is an option to safe in multi-layer material OR in single-layer material.

ADAM i´ll hope you´ll find a way to do this.

Having lighting on your model's Faces, requires both the Material texture AND the lighting texture. So LightUp exports 2-layer materials in the FBX file - these will import into Maya, 3dsMax and Unity3D - in fact any modeller should import these valid files but it is true that Cheetah3D etc have limited FBX support.

You can also export your model from LightUp with just lighting information. This is a single layer material.

Hello Adam i have now find a way to combine lightmap and texture.

is it possible in the next version to choose the size of the lightmap?
normaly the lightmap have a ration 1:2 is it possible to implement to choose a ration 1:1?

the UV editor in max support only a ration 1:1.

the baked images look a little bit blurry

thank you
