Remember Window Positions

Post by samtsham » Sat Oct 08, 2011 9:17 pm

Hi,

this is really just cosmetic, but every single time I start Tourtool, I have to clean up the workspace, and move the LightUp menus out of the way of my model view. The positions your windows appear in seem arbitrary and strange, they even overlap each other. I cannot adjust colors and preferences without moving at least one of the menus around. This is peculiar and needlessly inelegant.

Would it be a difficult fix to remember the window position from the last session?
Thank you for considering this!

Regards,
SAM from Vienna.

Great suggestion! The reason it doesn't save Dialog positions is due to a bug in the way SketchUp works on Mac & PCs.
But you're totally correct, every first time you run Tourtool, its almost "autopilot behaviour" to move stuff around.

Now fixed on PC and Mac which remembers all LightUp dialog positions across sessions.

We'll push it out with the next release.
