LightUp will filter any light through non-opaque materials.

You simply have to apply the non-opaque material to both sides of a face (SketchUp does have a "feature" whereby if you apply a transparent material to 1 side of a Face it shows it on both sides even though the other sides material may be opaque).

Attached is a simple model with a "stained glass window" material which filters the sunlight onto the wall. As usual, just load it and press Tourtool.

Adam
I've downloaded and opened this model with v2.2.b and It won't render the coloured glass as shown, also stained glass in my models that rendered OK with previous versions won't render with v2.2.b, is it just me?

Adam
Windows 7 64 Bit
6 GB
ADM Phenom II X6 1045
ADM Radeon HD6570

I just get plain White projected on the wall with no colours cast from the window

Hmm. Have you by chance changed the lighting to "Realtime sun"? Or if you are using "Direct", mistakenly increased the sun Multiplier to some large value thats buying out all colour.

Could you show the Lighting Preferences you used in the model so I can duplicate them on my machine to see if its Just Me!

Thanks

The SketchUp model contains all the LightUp settings ready to go. So if you download a fresh copy of the .skp from the forum, open it and press Tourtool and still get the same issues, we can eliminate the possibility of tweaked settings.

I opened a fresh downloaded model and just pressed Toutool and this is what I got, I opened the light settings window in case you wanted to check the settings
