Reflection maps on export?

What happens to reflectionmaps when doing a export? I can't find them with the exported lightmaps.
It would be great if it could be added since that would speed up the workflow in Unity.

Yes, its not going to appear until v2.0

Hi Adam

Is this sill in the pipeline? I use the Indie version of Unity and would love to bring reflections etc in from Lightup to Unity.

Yes. LightUp v2.0 (optionally) exports any normalmap and specularmap you have attached to a material. It respectively appends "_normal" or "_spec" to the texture name. So in your exported folder, you'd get something like:

Wood_Lumber_ButtJoined.tga
Wood_Lumber_ButtJoined_normal.tga
Wood_Lumber_ButtJoined_spec.tga

With specular map do you mean a grayscale image of where an object is more or less reflective or do you mean the actual reflection Cubemap?
I would like to export the cubemap automaticly.

I really love the LightUp and Unity workflow - still working with the trial but I will be buying it at the end of the December. Such a good investment. I was a little disappointed in Beast.

When do you think LU Ver 2 will be available?? :)

I would also like the answer to this please. Since the Unity engine uses cubemaps to drive reflections, is there currently a workflow for generating cubemaps in LightUp based on the specular/fresnel settings set per material, and then assigning these to the relevant materials in Unity?

I have tried the workflow mentioned here: http://www.lightup4sketchup.com/forum/v ... ?f=2&t=961 (second post down)
However, only managed to generate a series of black .tga files with a number of colourful "not for commercial use" warnings :)

Any help with this would be appreciated.

LightUp v2.3g has an extra option to export all the cubemaps you've set up in LightUp as sets of 6 images.
