tomato model

Post by henkvol » Tue Oct 06, 2015 11:28 am

I like to make a model greenhouse with a tomatcrop insite an see the penetration of the light into the crop on different hights.
Is there a way to give parameters like reflection, transmission , abortion to a "tomato" model.
thanks you for Help

Could you show the tomato crop? Things as absorption are not supported so maybe a combination of reflection and transparency could do the job. Maybe also show a reference image?

Standard building regulations use a 20% figure for foliage occlusion, so you could model this by setting foliage material opacity to 80%.

Setting the material to "Bounce Light" can model the re-transmission from the foliage back into the modelled space.
