UNINSTALL SOFTWARE

Post by RAVEN » Thu Jun 05, 2008 2:13 pm

It is very buggy on my system and has crashed SU most times, look forward to further development, but I can't get it to do anything like your demo's....sorry but I'd like to uninstall?

Hi Adam
Could you please explain how to unstill the new version as per this original request. Im also having problems. Even the most very basic of models are jittery and slow. Maybe Im just missing something, Its infuriating as I cant seem to find it in the programs list or in the Plug-ins folder as with other plug ins or ruby's, This is important as its significantly affecting SU and I have a heap of work to do...
Many Thanks

Matt

I believe RAVEN was using the old version of LightUp. I'm very surprised you're having problems with the new version - probably a bad graphics driver.

To uninstall just remove the file /Library/Application Support/Google Sketchup 6/Sketchup/tools/lightuptools.rb

Greetings,

I'm having difficulty uninstalling also. Cannot find this folder you're mentioning. I realize the last reply to this post was in 2008 so I'm sure things have been updated. How can I uninstall and reinstall?

Thanks in advance!

We now use the SketchUp built-in installer (.rbz files)
